Understanding the Problem
In many scenarios, it's crucial to filter out form submissions that use disposable or free email domains. These domains often indicate spam, bots, or individuals who aren't genuinely interested in your services.
Solution: Using Domain Lists in Meeting Queues
To effectively filter out these submissions, you can leverage the domain list functionality within your meeting queue.
Steps:
1. Create a New Meeting Queue:
- Go to your meeting queue settings.
- Create a new queue.
2. Define Qualifying Rules:
- Under "Qualifying Rules," create a new rule.
- For the "Email" parameter, select the condition "Domain is in list" or "Domain is not in list".
3. Use the Predefined Domain List:
- Click on the "Edit email domain list" button.
- This will open a list containing 4768 predefined disposable or free email domains.
- You can view, download, or modify this list as needed.
4. Modify the List (Optional):
If you need to add or remove domains from the list, download it, make your changes, and then upload it back into the meeting queue.
5. Create a Disqualification Queue:
In your router, create a dedicated "disqualification queue". Configure this queue to receive leads that meet the free/temporary email domain criteria. Set up a thank you message to be displayed to leads that are filtered into this queue. You can also redirect them to a landing page.
Benefits of This Approach
- Efficient Filtering: Automatically filters out submissions from disposable or free email domains.
- Customizable Domain List: Allows you to tailor the list to your specific needs.
- Dedicated Disqualification Queue: Provides a clear path for handling filtered leads.
- Improved Lead Quality: Ensures that your leads are more likely to be genuine and interested.
By following these steps and utilizing the domain list functionality, you can effectively filter out form submissions from disposable or free email domains and improve the quality of your leads.
