Pre-requisites You must have created an organization in Leadmonk to make use of Inbound Router features. Before creating a form, create all form properties for the data that you collect from users when they submit a form.
Below diagram shows the relationship between inbound router and other objects.
What is the use of forms in Leadmonk?
Forms in Leadmonk are used to collect information from your website visitors. This information can be used to generate leads and qualify leads.
You can either use Leadmonk native form, or map an external form, such as HubSpot form, Marketo form, Pardot form, or custom webform to Leadmonk.

Leadmonk native forms
You can create one-at-a-time form, step form, or all-at-once form in Leadmonk.
- One at a time form: Display only one field at a time and make it easy for users out to focus on one piece of information at a time.
- Step form: Clear and organized step-by-step form layout for a smooth multi-step user experience.
- All-at-once form: One-page form design for filling out all required fields at once.
How to create a form in Leadmonk
To create a form in Leadmonk, you will need to:
- Go to the Router > Forms page.
- Click the + Create new button.
This will create a new form with the default title "Contact us" and the fields "First name", "Last name", and "Your email". You can modify or remove any of these default fields from the form.
- To specify a header for the form, click the + button on the form and select Header.
- To add a text paragraph to the form, click the + button on the form and select Paragraph.
- To add a form property to the form, click the + button on the form and select Form property.
- You can reorder the fields by long pressing and dragging them.
- You can delete a field by clicking the delete icon shown in front of that field.
- You can edit the title of button on the page by clicking edit icon next to the button.
You can edit any of the form fields, header, or paragraph by clicking the edit icon shown in front of that field.
- As shown in the below image, once you update the property title.
- You can mark a form field as mandatory by switching on 'required' field and then click 'Ok' button to save the changes.
- Click Ok button to save the property title changes.
- Click Cancel button to cancel the changes.
The form name has to be unique. You can change the label of the button, button background color and label color as shown below.
Once you have made all of the desired changes, click the Save button to save the form.

How to edit a form
To edit a form, you will need to:
- Go to the Router > Forms page.
- Click the name of the form that you want to edit.
- This will open the form in edit mode.
- Make the desired changes to the form.
- Click the Save button.
The changes that you make to the form will be reflected automatically in all inbound routers where the form is used.
How to delete a form
To delete a form, you will need to:
- Go to the Router > Forms page.
- Click the name of the form that you want to delete.
- Click the Delete button.
- A confirmation dialog will appear. Click the Yes button to delete the form.
The form will be deleted only if it is not used in any inbound routers. If the form is used in any inbound routers, you will not be able to delete it.
Additional Points
Here are some additional things to keep in mind when editing or deleting a form:
- The form properties that you add to the form must be defined first. You can define form properties by going to the Settings > Form properties page.
- You can add as many form properties, headers, and paragraphs to the form as you need.
- Once you have created a form, you can embed it on your website or or shared as a link.
- If you edit a form property, the changes will be reflected automatically in all inbound routers that use the form.
- If you delete a form, all of the data that was collected using the form will be deleted.
