Businesses now can add a link to “Book an appointment” page in their Google Business Profile (formerly known as the Google My Business page). The link will show up wherever your Google My Business page shows up in the local search results. Appointment URLs are not just for restaurants and medical practices. You can also add one if you’ve got a service business, a law practice, or other types of business. Pretty much every business can add an appointment URL right now to their GMB profile.
Here are the options to add a scheduling link to your Google Business profile to manage your Bookings directly on Google.
Option 01) Sign in to the Google Account you used to sign up for Google Business Profile. To find your Business Profile, search on Google for your exact business name. You can also search for “my business.” In the menu above the search results, click Edit profile.
Click the transaction type that you want to add a link to, such as Booking.
Click Add link. If you already have links on your Business Profile, click Add another link.
Enter the URL that you want to link to the button.
Click Save.
Option 02) If you don't see the above option to update the appointment booking link for your business, you can try the below approach.
Sign in to the Google Account you used to sign up for Google Business Profile.
Go to the Google Business profile manager site (You can do a Google search to visit that site if you don't know the URL)
Search for the business you manage there. Once you see its details, click 'Info' on the left sidebar and go to the highlighted section on that page. There you may see the 'Appointment links' field to update the booking link. Click the pencil icon next to this field to update the booking link.
Option 03) If Options 1 and 2 don't work for you, you can try the below approach.
Sign in to the Google Account you used to sign up for Google Business Profile.
Go to the Google Business profile manager site (You can do a Google search to visit that site if you don't know the URL)
Search for the business you manage there. Once you see its details, go to the highlighted section on the home page. Click the ‘Update service availability’ link.
You get a popup with some questions. Answer those questions. For the below-highlighted question, choose YES as an answer. When you choose yes to the below-highlighted question, you get an option to specify the booking link. Specify your booking link there and click Done. Sometimes Google takes a day or 2 to verify the changes before they are visible to the public.
