By default, Leadmonk offers two types of notifications to choose from:
- Calendar Invitation (most common) - When the invitee books an appointment, a calendar invitation is sent from the email address associated with the calendar you've connected to this event type.
- Email Confirmation - When the invitee books an appointment, the invitee receives an email confirmation with an event file (ics file) that can be added to their calendar (no calendar invitation).
Both options provide detailed information about the booking, including date, time, location, and any additional notes or instructions.
Check this help page to know more about appointment notification options.
- Log in to your Leadmonk account.
- Navigate to the event type that is experiencing the issue.
- Click on the event type to access its customization settings.
- Within the event type customization settings, click on the "Notification Preferences" tab.
- In the "Notification Preferences" tab, check if the "Email Invitations" option is enabled.
- When Email Invitations are enabled, Leadmonk sends an email to you with an event file (ics file) attached. To add the appointment to your calendar, you need to download the attached ics file and import it into your calendar application manually.
- If you prefer to have appointments added automatically to your calendar, switch to "Calendar Invitations" option and save the settings.
- Enabling this option will change the notification method from email invitations to calendar invitations. In this case, calendar invitations are sent directly from your connected calendar to your invitees, automatically adding the appointments to your calendar without the need for manual intervention.
If you encounter any further issues or need additional assistance, don't hesitate to reach out to Leadmonk's support team for further help and guidance.
